Reigning GP2 Series champions ART Grand Prix will miss this week's two-day test session at Paul Ricard following the death of race engineer Steeve Marcel (above, right with Nico Rosberg).

Marcel, 32, had been battling cancer for some time and passed away on Monday night.

One of Steeve's career highlights was masterminding ART's double championship success in 2005. He has since been described by Nico Rosberg, with whom he worked very closely that year, as "a genius".
